Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Hyrrd platform operated by Hyrrd Labs (“Hyrrd”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you use Hyrrd on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.

1. The service

Hyrrd analyzes work signals (including résumés and connected sources such as GitHub) to help engineering teams discover and evaluate candidates. Features are provided on an “as available” basis and may change during our beta period.

2. Eligibility & accounts

• You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping credentials secure.
• You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit (résumés, profiles, job postings). You grant Hyrrd a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the service — including generating derived signals and summaries. You represent that you have the rights to submit the content and that it does not infringe others’ rights.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, harvest, or bulk-export candidate data except through features we provide.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, game, or manipulate match scores or signals.
• Use the platform to discriminate unlawfully or to harass any person.
• Upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, or disrupt the service.
• Use automated systems to place excessive load on our APIs or AI features.

We may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or threaten the integrity of the platform.

5. Recruiter obligations

Recruiters must use candidate data only for legitimate hiring purposes, comply with applicable employment and anti-discrimination law, and not share candidate data outside their organization without a lawful basis.

6. AI outputs

Match scores, summaries, and search results are algorithmic aids, not hiring decisions. You are responsible for your own hiring decisions and for ensuring they are lawful and fair. Outputs may contain errors and should not be treated as definitive.

7. Fees

Paid plans, if any, will be described at the point of purchase. During beta, features may be offered free of charge and may be changed or withdrawn.

8. Intellectual property

The platform, including its software, models, and design, is owned by Hyrrd and protected by intellectual-property law. These Terms grant you no rights in our IP except the limited right to use the service.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if required for legal or security reasons. Upon termination, the rights granted to you end and data is handled per our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hyrrd will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 100.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
