We read work, not resumes.

Hyrrd is the hiring intelligence layer for engineering teams — built for a world where resumes are cheap and signal is everything.

Hiring engineers has always been hard. AI made it worse. Recruiter inboxes are now flooded with polished, keyword-stuffed resumes that any candidate can generate in a single prompt. Keyword filters — already a blunt instrument — get gamed instantly, and the people who suffer most are the ones doing real work: self-taught engineers, career-switchers, and open-source contributors without a big-name company on their CV.

We started Hyrrd because the signal that actually predicts great engineers already exists — in their commits, their pull requests, the architecture decisions they make, the way their career has compounded over time. It’s just never been read at scale. So we built a system that does: it ingests real work, extracts dozens of orthogonal signals, and matches engineers to the roles where they’ll actually thrive.

What we believe

  • Work is the resume. The best evidence of what someone can do is what they’ve already done.
  • Signal beats keywords. A match should reflect capability, growth, domain depth, and culture fit — not a string match on “5 years of React.”
  • Scores shouldn’t be gameable. Candidates get honest, opaque profile-strength prompts — never a number to optimize.
  • Fairness is a feature. Every automated ranking decision is logged and monitored for bias.

Who it’s for

Engineering-first teams who are tired of paying a screening tax on every role, and engineers who’d rather let their work speak than spend an afternoon writing bullet points. If that’s you, browse open roles or get started.

Where we are

Hyrrd is in private beta. We’re a small team shipping quickly and learning from every hire that flows through the platform. Want to talk? Reach out — we read everything.
